Permanent-Line's founder, Astrid Schneider Harper, refined the unique beauty concept of micro-pigmentation technology in Europe. Astrid and her mother, Barbara Schneider, have pioneered the field in Germany and perfected the technique that delivers natural-looking results. The Schneider family owns and operates more than 10 micro-pigmentation sites throughout Germany and Tenerife, Spain.

Astrid brought the technology to the United States in 1986 resulting in a skyrocketing demand for the new and innovative concept of permanent make-up. She has worked with various plastic surgeons and dermatologists from around the world. Together with her staff of professional clinicians, Astrid has performed more than 30,000 cosmetic enhancements.

Permanent-Line is a safe technology for cosmetic enhancement and restorative purposes. It uses federally approved, allergy-tested pigments that are carefully implanted into the skin for permanent enhancement. The pigments are comprised of organic and inorganic compounds and do not contain any heavy metals or iron oxide.

Most other permanent make-up clinicians use pigments containing these heavy metals or iron oxide causing the pigment to fade quickly. In addition, iron oxide will distort images during any MRI exams, resulting in skin irritation.

Permanent-Line uses only MRI-safe compounds.

Astrid works with special care under sterile conditions, using micro-implantation instruments exclusively designed for Permanent-Line. However, before pigments are implanted in the skin, they are first drawn on to allow for clients an opportunity to envision the intended look and enable them to request any adjustments before permanently applied. Astrid then uses artist brushes to create the look most desired by her clients.
